For many years my work took me into people's homes as a professional working with Home Health companies. Since I lived and worked in the San Fernando Valley (part of Los Angeles) I would often find myself in unairconditioned homes during weeks of 100-105 degree heat.

When I found out about the traditional cooling scarf from a client (the ones with polymer crystals that grab the water and release it slowly to provide cooling) I began to manufacture them as a side-line. I soon realized, however, that they were often dripping onto my clothes and were bulky - sort of like wearing a little sausage around your neck.

For years I searched for some new and better technology - but with no success. The newer cooling scarves were made with a chemical sprayed on that caused them to dry hard and brittle. Others were simply using 20-year old wicking technology.

But then I found it! Eureka! This textile (which is proprietary) actually has nanoparticles of real Jade woven into the fabric. For centuries in the East, jade has been known for it's extreme cooling properties. Combining that with the superior wicking technology of Jade Coolers and you have a truly unique and spectacular product.

All I can say is... you have to feel it to believe it!
